From the Founder

The Nicki Lynch clothing line was birthed out of a childhood desire. At a very young age, instead of watching children's television shows, I would always seek programs that taught me how to draw! I would draw anything from cartoons, to landscapes, and skylines.

As I entered into my teenage years, I had developed my skills to be able to draw and design beautiful clothes. I eventually drew all of my prom dresses as well as my debutant dress. I took those designs to a local seamstress, and the fashion designer in me was born!

However in those days, the question was always "What are you going to do to make money?". I looked at drawing as a hobby not a money maker. So once in college, I chose to dive deeper into programming technology. The popular saying of that day was " The money is in the computers!".

I certainly don't regret my decision to step away from fashion design. I have been successful in my corporate life as well as my endeavors as an entrepreneur. As a matter of fact, I actually chose to become an entrepreneur/web designer because it gave me the opportunity to express my creative side. However, it wasn't enough. Drawing was and still is my method of peace and relaxation! It is my lifetime joy!

One day after hearing a sermon based on 2nd Kings 4, it finally hit me. I had studied that scripture on numerous occasions, and had actually built my webdesign business (AdvBT) from the revelation. Yet on this day, I realized that I didn't have to choose between fashion design or computers. When the prophet ask the woman what do you have in your house, I realized that in my house was a desire and skill to design clothes! I made the decision right then that I would become a fashion designer again!

Almost immediately, the ideas began to flood my mind. It was like I had struck oil! By the next morning I had at least 11 designs to make. I began pray and do my research on the best way to start the clothing line, and the rest was history.

Now I'm declaring that the Nicki Lynch clothing line will be sold in stores across the globe!
